Basic Need For Fertigation – Polybag

It is used to fill the media. Average height is 25-35cm and width about 30-45cm. White colour is recommended because it reflects sunlight and therefore, the straight rootings will be achieved ( if black polybag is used, the roots will grow to the wall of the polybag and thus reducing the nutrient absorbtion by the roots when driping process started). Other material also can be use to contained the media. We can use polyethane bag, clay pot, p.e pot etc. but must have holes at the bottom and at the side (about 15cm height) to allow liquid to pass through (during the weekly flushing) and also to have a good air circulation for the roots to 'breathe'.
White polybag is the most popular choice for Fertigation worldwide -->
